Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational curriculum for young children - Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members - Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment - Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - Previous experience working with young students in a daycare, tutoring, or classroom setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong understanding of literacy education and early childhood literacy strategies - Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations for students with special needs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners - Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage a classroom We offer competitive salary, health benefits, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
