This position will also drive a company vehicle in support of the manufacturing department.
This is an entry-level classification.
Incumbents perform routine task and as proficiency increases incumbents, under general supervision or technical guidance may perform more difficult assignments.
Essential Duties:
Assists and participates in assembly of generator trailers.
Installs engine/alternator assemblies onto generator trailers using overhead cranes.
Assembles and installs scrubber tanks and other emissions equipment.
Assembles and installs electrical wiring components and control units.
Assembles and installs generator enclosures and related components.
Installs deep cell batteries.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalence.
Experience:
Required:
Entry-level, no experience required.
Preferred:
Mechanical/electrical background.
Honorably discharged veterans.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Possession of a valid Driver License at the time of appointment.

Ability to attain Crane and Forklift Certifications by the end of the probationary period.
