Job Title HR Generalist I Job Type Full-Time Job Description The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
They provide a wide range of human resource support and play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and human resources best practices.
The Human Resources Generalist also facilitates a positive relationship between all personnel and management.
Essential Duties:
Provides high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance, as well as administer employee policies.
Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
Assists in the talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Trains and provides support to the human resources team.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Conducts employee onboarding and helps organize training and development initiatives.
Provides support to employees in various human resources-related topics such as leaves and compensation, as well as resolves any issues that may arise.
Gathers and analyzes data with useful human resources metrics.
Organizes quarterly and annual employee performance reviews and other tasks around performance management.
Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Enhances job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.

Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year university in Human Resources Management or related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of human resource management experience.
